God Friended Me season 2 episode 10: Are Miles and Cara over?

Over the course of the hour tonight, we ended up seeing the breakup for Miles and Cara. We can’t say for sure that it’s going to be a permanent breakup, but it’s still something that could reverberate for a while. Cara is concerned about Miles having both her and the God Account in his life, and she worries about him balancing it. She also doesn’t want him to choose her and then cause people to not get the help that they need. There’s a lot at stake here and that’s something that she is very-much aware of at the moment.
Are we thinking that God Friended Me is going to find its way to bring the two of them together? We have a feeling that it’s possible, but it may take a little bit of time. There are also some other things at play now, as well — Miles wants to find the creator of the God Account, thinking that it would enable the two of them to get together. He wants to convince someone else to take on the role, and he’s going to need the help of the God Account in order to ensure that something happens.
Well, here’s the big twist — in the closing minutes of the episode, we saw Miles run into Joy, who is back in town and has some rather-big news at the same time: She has learned that there is a connection between all of the Friend Suggestions. Maybe that will bring the whole team closer to answers … wouldn’t that be nice?
