‘The X Factor’ USA: Emblem3 member Drew Chadwick hospitalized … over tuna
There is some breaking news coming in from “The X Factor” USA, and on this occasion it somehow revolves all around something as simple as fish. Really, really bad fish.
According to a report from TMZ, one of the members of Emblem3 in Drew Chadwick had to be hospitalized on Thursday, mere hours before the live results show, over a violent vomiting spell that started the nigh before thanks in part to some tuna sandwiches that were ordered by the contestants after the performance show. A number of the singers have fallen in, though Chadwick is the only person currently hospitalized over the ailment. The only good news here is that this comes after Emblem3 completely blew the roof off of the studio during their performance on Wednesday, and likely won enough support from Simon Cowell to be safe.
As for some of the other sick parties, the only person that we know for sure is not feeling particularly well is Camilla from the group 1432, who may be in a little bit more danger of having to perform for their lives on Thursday night. Even though she is violently ill, she is still on location as of this writing, and could end up going on stage to perform if called on. (Shouldn’t someone reward them based solely on this alone?)
The voting public will not get their own opportunity to judge the contestants until next week, when the top 12 will perform for the judges, who really will no longer have much of a say in anything other than who goes home in the bottom 2.
The one thing we can say for sure after hearing this story: “The X Factor” USA will probably be banning their contestants from all tuna for the rest of the competition … or at least from this one particular place.
