Is The Walking Dead new tonight on AMC? Episode 9 hopes
Let’s go ahead and get the bad news out of the way now — there is no new episode on the air this time around. What’s the reason for that? Well, last week was the midseason finale! There were a number of big revelations in that episode, whether it be seeing Michonne embark on her journey with Virgin, the death of Dante, or also getting a chance in order to discover Alpha’s zombie horde. That was an insane reveal that sets the stage for Carol and the rest of the show’s main characters to make some big decisions.

So when is The Walking Dead going to be coming back on the air? Think in terms of Sunday, February 23. There are eight new episodes coming, and we know that there’s a lot of ground that the show has to cover. Take, for example, getting a chance in order to see how Michonne eventually leaves the show — we know that it’s going to happen, and the big question that you’re left to wonder is simply how. Meanwhile, we know that there are some new arrivals, and there may very well be one returning character, as well — Maggie. We’re going to be seeing her as a series regular at some point in season 11. That’s already been confirmed, so there is no real reason to worry about that.
Of course, there is something else that is brimming underneath the surface that we’re wanting some more information about — the Rick Grimes movies. These are still somewhat-mysterious, other than of course the fact that they’ve been worked on for a rather long time know. By the time season 10 comes off the air, we’re sure that there will be a few more answers out there.
