Better Call Saul season 5: When can we expect full trailer?

To date, we’ve seen a few different teasers and photos for Better Call Saul season 5 … but we’ve yet to see a full trailer. That’s where we’ll start to see the next big reinvention of Jimmy McGill into Saul Goodman, and there’s sure to be a lot of exciting stuff with that.

The question now ultimately remains this: When is that trailer going to come? When will we start to get a real taste of the next chapter? It’s going to happen before the February 23 premiere … but you’re still probably going to be waiting for a while.

In looking back at the lead-up to Better Call Saul season 4, we can tell you that the trailer ended up launching in mid-July 2018. Meanwhile, the season itself arrived in early August. If AMC was to use the same sort of logic here in the lead-up to season 5, we would say that the full trailer will be here in late January/early February. That means, basically, that we’ve got another couple of months to wait until the network delivers the goods.

As to some of what you can expect in said trailer, some of it starts with the early days of Jimmy as Saul. There could be a time jump in here, but we’re hoping that at some point along the way, we’ll be able to experience what it was like for Jimmy crafting this part of his legal life, building his clientele, and becoming a trusted name within a rather untrustworthy community. That’s not going to be an easy thing for Jimmy to do, but judging from what he does in Breaking Bad, he achieves some of those goals.

To go along with Saul, we of course also need to get a small sense of where the story for Kim will go now that she’s seen some of Jimmy’s transformation. She’s not a part of Breaking Bad, so this may not be an experience she wants to stick around for.
