NBC’s ‘Revolution’ spoilers: Two new actors sign on
Ready to take another dive into the world of “Revolution”? Let’s hope so, since we’ve just caught word of a pair of actors who are now joining the hit NBC series for at least one-episodes appearances … and like many of the other actors already confirmed to appear, they have some sort of action background to go along with it.
According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, the actors we are specifically talking about are Leland Orser and Patrick St. Esprit. In the case of the former actor (who is best known as of late for his role in the “Taken” franchise starring Liam Neeson), he is coming on board here to play the part of a scientist name John Sanborn who has an affinity for one thing above all other: weapons, and trying to build them.
As for St. Esprit, the “Chicago Code” and “Sons of Anarchy” actor will be playing the part of Wayne Ramsay, who is going to be a man leading some sort of rebellion against General Monroe and his militia. These two actors will hopefully bring a little bit more life to the show’s guest cast than we have seen lately, mostly because their guest stars who have appeared on the season so far (see Mark Pellegrino) seemed to be underutilized.
“Revolution” has become a ratings monster for NBC in a relatively short amount of time, but it would be an understatement to say that this achievement has not come without some controversy along the way. Many have criticized the show heavily for not really going anywhere with its plot, and despite a great premise and beautiful visuals, there is a pretty deep-seeded disdain for the main character in Charlie.
What do you think about these castings?
