How to Get Away with Murder season 6 spoilers: Boss on choices to come

As we get into the next part of How to Get Away with Murder season 6 on ABC, we know already about a number of things. Take, for example, that Asher is gone. Also, that Annalise Keating may be dead. We haven’t seen a dead body yet, but for the time being, we at least have to consider it a possibility that she won’t make it through the series alive.

Given that there are some people within this world who have done some less-than-okay things, it shouldn’t be a surprise that there are major consequences coming for everyone, and this is not going to be a final season littered with happy endings. I always want things to feel surprising but also true to the character … Really what I want is for each character to be faced with a ‘Sophie’s choice’ of their own life. Who do they want to be? I think they are all moral people in the end, and so they never planned on becoming murderers and terrible people. I think they’re each going to decide what type of person they want to be at the end of the show and that might surprise people.”

There are some characters we remain hopeful about for the time being, with Oliver, Michaela, and Connor near the top of the list. They’ve somehow been able to survive this world despite a wide array of different stuff that has hit them, time and time again. They’ve withstood a lot and yet, there’s a little bit more that they will have to take on. Take, for example, Michaela and Connor being arrested for Asher’s murder.
