Arrow season 8 episode 6 spoilers: Be prepared for ‘Reset’
What do you want to see when it comes to Arrow season 8 episode 6? Let’s start by noting this: It will begin with a surprise. Oliver Queen is going to find himself facing some key decisions after Lyla surprises him, and we’re also going to dive into past stories, heartache, and a whole lot more.
This episode, ironically, is entitled “Reset” — we’re just not sure that such a thing is even possible. It’s hard to run from or change things that have transpired, and we say that knowing full well that this is a world where time-travel is possible. Even if you go back and try to alter things, there’s no guarantee that they end up as they should in the present. Flashpoint is further proof of that.
Below, CarterMatt has the full Arrow season 8 episode 6 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming up next:
YOU CAN’T FIGHT YOUR FATE – After being double-crossed by Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson), Oliver (Stephen Amell) finds himself facing a life or death situation that seems very familiar. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) has the opportunity to make amends with the past. David Ramsey directed the episode written by Onalee Hunter Hughes & Maya Houston (#806). Original airdate 11/26/2019.
Aside from the story of this episode, it is important to note that this is another episode directed by David Ramsey. It’s a reminder of not only how far these actors have come in their craft, but also how they’ve expanded outward. Arrow has done a great job over the years allowing its actors to become more knowledgeable in other ventures — Ramsey is not the first actor to direct an episode, and this is a pattern that has also been felt elsewhere within the Arrowverse.
There are only two episodes of Arrow left before we get to the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover turning up — let’s just hope that the buildup is every bit as great as what we’ve had on the show so far.
