Fuller House season 5 cast prepare for series finale today
This is not just the end of one road; rather, this looks to be the end of many roads all at once. Think about it — the original series Full House featured many of the same actors, and there are so many people who have known each other for the entirety of their lives. The show’s main trio of Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber grew up on this show. For executive producer John Stamos, this is a series that really is one of the cornerstones of his adult life.
In leading up to the big finale taping, check out some of what Bure had to say in a post on Instagram below and know this — there are going to be a lot of powerful tributes to this show over the next few days. It’s going to be hard for anyone to say goodbye to Fuller House and understandably so. When you were on a show that made this much of a widespread impact, it’s pretty darn hard to let that go. For many years, Fuller House has been among one of Netflix’s most-popular comedies, which helps to raise all sorts of questions as to why the series is ending in the first place.
Unfortunately, after this taping is over we’re not sure that there is going to be any more editions of the franchise in the near future. We know that we’d love to see more, but it would take finding a different home presumably — one of the best-case scenarios is that there could be a spin-off, sequel, or something else over on HBO Max down the road. After all, Fuller House studio Warner Bros. TV is really the company pushing the new service more so than anyone else.
