A Million Little Things season 2 episode 9 spoilers: ‘Time Stands Still’

Next week, A Million Little Things season 2 episode 9 is carrying with it the title of “Time Stands Still.” That sounds almost like the perfect title for a romantic comedy … but we have a feeling that the story itself isn’t going to be anywhere near as cheery. It’s hard to think so when you consider some of what’s going on at the moment. Secrets have been revealed in regards to the character of PJ in particular, and there are likely so many problems that are going to come pouring out. What could these be? For starters, think in terms of some serious issues that could require a lot of pondering and coping.

Below, CarterMatt offered the official A Million Little Things season 2 episode 9 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming:

Rome helps PJ through a personal crisis, while Gary and Maggie’s relationship takes a turn; and Delilah, Eddie and Katherine make tough decisions that will affect their families.

We’re nearing the end of the winter part of this season and through that, you have to imagine that the drama for everyone is going to escalate on some level. This is a show that wants to give you hope, for sure — we’ve seen that aplenty with Gary and Maggie. Yet, there’s also been that underlying realization that in providing hope, sometimes there also has to be despair. Sometimes there needs to be a cognizance that not everything goes according to plan. You can’t have one without the other; they keep the world balanced.

Just be prepared for more tears; at this point, it feels like a natural component to the fabric of A Million Little Things. We don’t see that changing no matter how long the story goes on for.

The promo below raises some more questions — take, for example, how PJ is going to cope with all of the pain around him. Or, think in terms of how Maggie is going to contemplate her future with Gary after she finds that ring.
