NCIS season 17 episode 9 spoilers: Gibbs becomes a babysitter

Curious to learn a few more things in regards to NCIS season 17 episode 9? This is an episode entitled “IRL,” and there’s going to be an unusual case. Yet, to go along with that, you’re going to see one Leroy Jethro Gibbs take on a rather unusual position: Babysitter. He’ll be doing it with his 11-year old neighbor Phineas, who we first met earlier this year. We’ve got questions aplenty about whether or not Phineas’ mom is some sort of secret spy, but that may be just some of our TV paranoia settling in. We don’t think that Phineas is in danger — he’s just a kid, and someone who probably could use a role model like Gibbs. Plus, who doesn’t want to see a different side of Gibbs?

“IRL” – The NCIS team investigates a petty officer’s murder that was live-streamed on a popular gaming app. Also, Gibbs watches his 11-year-old neighbor, Phineas (Jack Fisher), when his mom must leave on a last-minute trip, on NCIS, Tuesday, Nov. 26 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The case-of-the-week storyline should prove to be quite exciting, at least in terms of it diving into a world that most of the team knows very little about. Who among the team would actually partake in gaming apps? Maybe McGee and Bishop, but we like to think of them more as old-school gamers. (Maybe we just think this way because personally, we’re mostly an old-school gamer in our own right.)

This episode of NCIS is going to air two days before we get around to the Thanksgiving holiday, and rest assured it’s not the final one of the year. We know already that there is at least one more coming in December, maybe more.
