Evil episode 8 spoilers: Murder during an exorcism

Evil

Evil episode 8 is an episode airing next week on CBS and through that, you’re going to get one of the more shocking murders yet. We’ve seen exorcism dramas about a million times over, but we don’t think that we’ve ever seen one quite like this. To be specific, we’re talking about one where there’s a murder that happens right in the middle of said exorcism. What do you do in a situation like this? How do you unravel what is a pretty clear, pretty shocking crisis? Well, this is what some of the main characters have to figure out here.

Below, CarterMatt has the official Evil episode 8 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming up next:

“Vatican III” – When Bridget (Annaleigh Ashford) confesses to murder during her exorcism, Monsignor Korecki (Boris McGiver) asks Kristen, David and Ben to investigate if the details match any open cases and if the woman really is possessed by a demon, on EVIL, Thursday, Nov. 14 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Sometimes, you can figure out a few important things about an episode just from the quality of the guest star, and Annaleigh Ashford is a good one. We’re talking here a little bit about a known name who is going to be coming on board and playing someone who is traumatized a million times over. How could you not be?

This is one of those episodes that raises questions galore about what is real and what is fake. Is there such a thing as a fake exorcism? That is something we hope to get a little more information about through the hour, but even if we don’t, there should be some interesting discussions involving a lot of viewers. Evil is a show all about taking a look at things that are unexplained, and through this hour, we’re sure that we will learn about quite a few bizarre phenomena.
