Chicago PD season 7 episode 9 spoilers: Halstead’s in trouble…

As we move into Chicago PD season 7 episode 9, there’s a great deal to anticipate … and then also a great deal of fear. NBC has been taking their time in order to build up the stories of a number of characters, and it does also seem as though Halstead’s is hitting another gear soon. He’s going to dive into a new relationship, one that may seem like a good idea at the time … but also one that could end up putting him in a huge amount of danger.

11/20/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : Fall Finale. Halstead’s secret ongoing relationship with a woman connected to another case puts him in jeopardy.

After reading this, we can’t help but wonder to ourselves why Halstead would put himself in this sort of position … especially since this is far from the first time that he’s gotten involved with someone tied to a case. We also probably feel this way just because we really want to see him with Upton. When is THAT moment going to happen? Is it too much to ask to have that demand in the back of our brain? We don’t think so anyway.

Given that this is the fall finale, we do think it’s fair to expect some sort of cliffhanger; with that, this is where you gotta ask the following. What is going to be the thing that puts Halstead in danger? What does he have to worry about? Maybe in this episode we’ll get a better sense of that, and also if this is something that could either jeopardize his career or his life. We certainly don’t want it to be the latter — haven’t we lost enough members of the Chicago PD family as of late? We like to think so.
