9-1-1 season 3 episode 5 promo: Buck – Bobby conflict and more

Perhaps the most interesting conflict to us at the moment involves Buck’s lawsuit, mostly because it shows how far he is willing to go in order to ensure that he gets what he wants back — most notably, the ability to have more control over his career. We do think that it’s something that should be resolved sooner rather than later, mostly because this isn’t really the sort of long-term conflict that most fans want to see. Think about it: The idea of watching characters go back and forth in a legal setting is not too exciting. That’s especially the case in situations where both of the characters are likable. There are a lot of people out there who root for both Buck and Bobby and because of that, seeing them face off in this matter is not all that much of an exciting proposition. Aren’t there other ways to go about doing things?

As for what else is going on within this episode, you will see the first responders rush to save people who gathered at a slaughterhouse to protest what’s happening there to ducks. We’re actually rather curious to see how viewers respond to that sort of story, mostly because you are dealing with something very sensitive. Viewers love ducks! While we’re sure there won’t be any killing on-screen, even the idea of happening may be enough to scare some people away or give them some sad thoughts while watching. Yet, 9-1-1 in the end is a show about watching heroes do heroic things, and that also means going to places that people want to pretend do not exist.

Rest assured, this won’t be the only setting of a rescue within this episode — now that 9-1-1 is back to being in its established rhythm, you will see a number of them over the course of the episode.
