Riverdale season 4 episode 3 spoilers: A car wash & dark secrets

Next week on The CW, Riverdale season 4 episode 3 is going to be giving its characters a lot of different issues to tackle. Take, for example, how Archie is still coping following the death of his father … or also how Jughead is adapting to his new surroundings. We’ve seen this character in a ton of different environments already; is there a chance that this could be one that actually works for him?

We have a feeling that the answer to this is no — Stonewall Prep isn’t going to be Jughead’s salvation. As a matter of fact, we don’t think that there is going to be any salvation for a number of different characters anytime soon. Graduation may be on the horizon for some of these people, but we’re not there yet. (Ironically, many of their biggest issues are going to be taking place away from school.)

BETTY AND CHARLES CONFRONT EDGAR EVERNEVER – Things take a dangerous turn when Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Charles (guest star Wyatt Nash) track down Edgar (guest star Chad Michael Murray) and his Farmies. Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) hold a car wash fundraiser at Pop’s to raise money for the community center. Elsewhere, Jughead’s (Cole Sprouse) first day at Stonewall Prep doesn’t go as planned. Lastly, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) learns a dark family secret from Nana Rose. Madchen Amick, Mark Consuelos, Skeet Ulrich, Casey Cott, Charles Melton and Vanessa Morgan also star. Greg Smith directed the episode written by Ace Hasan & Greg Murray (#403). Original airdate 10/23/2019.

What story intrigues us the most? At the moment, we gotta rank what’s happening with Cheryl fairly high on the list … and how can you not? We just wanna know how many more intense/scary family secrets the entire Blossom family can have … and also just how much more darkness you are willing to throw at this character. At this point, it just feels like it’s something that she’s taking on, time and time again, without fail.
