Fuller House season 5 filming: How many episodes are left?
For those who are wondering, though, what we can tell you is this: Last night marked the taping for episode 14, which means that there are only four more episodes to go in the 18-episode final season. This installment brings the show fully into the home stretch, one that will likely be more secretive than any other that we’ve seen.
Let’s make one thing clear right now — we don’t think that Fuller House is out to shock us in terms of bizarre story developments or the like in the final four episodes. We don’t think that DJ is suddenly going to sprout wings or that the show becomes a recreation of Breaking Bad. Yet, there could be some other elements that the writers/producers want to keep under wraps — think in terms of possible wedding/weddings or big-name guest stars. There is that small part of us that wants to hope that either of the Olsen Twins could show up in the final episodes, but we know that the producers previously got to a point where they won’t even bothering to ask anymore.
In a post on Instagram yesterday, you can see the latest image from the taping courtesy of Andrea Barber. She notes that this is a smaller crowd for an episode than usual, and that could have a thing or two to do with some of the wildfire carnage that was happening within Southern California. The Saddleridge Fire actually shut down some productions in nearby Santa Clarita, but for Burbank there was a little less of a direct issue.
We imagine that within the final episodes, we’ll hear enthusiastic crowds and a whole lot of other great stuff … whenever we get a chance to see them. It’s possible that all of the episodes of season 5 will launch later this year, but we wouldn’t be shocked if Netflix released two batches of nine. Read more about that possibility over here.
