The Masked Singer: Laila Ali revealed to be the Panda!

On tonight’s new episode of The Masked Singer, there was a big unveiling at the end of the episode: The Panda! Who was it? Early on in the episode, we didn’t have all that great of an idea one way or another.

When you think about her apparent athletic prowess, the easy conclusion to draw was that we were talking about someone like a Venus Williams or a Maria Sharapova. Yet, there were some other clues in there that didn’t perfectly line up on paper, including all of the talk about a potentially-famous family and a mother who was involved in cooking. In the end, though, it was revealed to be Laila Ali! The daughter of legendary boxed Muhammad Ali was revealed at the end of the episode in the costume. There were a ton of clues and yet, our mind still drifted a little bit elsewhere. This did make the most sense in the end, though.

In the end, the one thing that we can say with confidence is this: We’re in the midst of a pretty fantastic season of the show. There are a lot of fun characters on the show and enjoying those performances is really more important than anything else. We do feel for the Panda, though — she wasn’t a great singer but at the same time, she didn’t need to be told that by one of the judges.
