The Resident season 3 episode 2 preview: Nic breaks news to Conrad!
In the new sneak peek below (via TV Guide) for Tuesday’s episode, Emily VanCamp’s character is going to decide that she wants for the two of them to live together. This is a huge leap forward for a couple who have gone through a lot over the years and from here, the next order of business is going to be trying to figure out where to live in the near future. There are some benefits to Conrad’s place, including that the apartment is rent-controlled and the location is convenient enough. Yet, at the same time there are some serious drawbacks. Just think here in terms of the fact that there isn’t all that much privacy, in addition to it not being a place that is Nic and Conrad’s.
So are we going to have a chance to see something more with this particular storyline soon? We wouldn’t rule that out at the moment. After all, we’re talking about about a chance for the writers to explore further something that is important to both of them as people. They can move forward as a couple, but at the same time also have different opinions. We seriously want to see what it looks like with the two of them hunting a new place and them figuring out their future together.
In general, one of the struggles for any show like The Resident is finding a way in order to ensure that there is a lot of drama within this relationship, while at the same time not breaking them out … mostly because we feel like almost everyone would be mad at that. We’re confident that the show can figure it out but, at least for now, we like seeing everyone work their way through all of these different milestones and steps forward in their relationship. We’ll just have to wait and see how they work through the next chapters of their storybook … while also taking on all of the problems of the hospital.
