‘Private Practice’ season 6 spoilers: All Cooper, all the time
There are really not that many episodes of “Private Practice” left now, but before ABC and Shonda Rhimes drop the curtain on what has been their baby for good, there are some interesting storylines that are going to come our way courtesy of some episodes all about a few individual characters. So what will the focus of one of these installments be? It’s all about Cooper!
While clearly the best person to be talking about this very story would surely be Paul Adelstein, KaDee Strickland is probably the second-best person considering her relationship with the character. With that in mind, here is what she had to say about it in a recent interview with TVLine:
“Everything you have fallen in love with about Cooper over the last six years, there’s a full hour of it. It’s ‘Cooper’s Greatest Hits,’ that’s what it is … After six years of doing these two [characters], it’s so great when you get in there and still enjoy working together. I mean, we’ve been seeing each other at work on a daily basis for six years, and it’s wonderful how that can imbue the work. We had a lot of laughs and a lot of fun making that episode.”
The really nice thing about what executive producer Shonda Rhimes is doing with these episodes is that she is making sure that we have enough time to actually say some individual goodbyes to all of the characters, which is really not something that you often get a chance to do. Instead, you are traditionally stuck trying to cram in dozens of goodbyes and loose ends into one or two final episodes that it really does not work.
What character do you want to see in the spotlight the most before the show signs off the air?

I want to see how Shonda is going to finish up Charlotte’s story line. For anyone who has loved this show from the beginning and has loved her we have waited 6 season to see her develop this far as a character I hope that we aren’t left disappointed by the end of the series.
