Outlander notes: Sam Heughan, Graham McTavish wrap latest Clan Lands
With this series, what Graham and Sam have done is travel around to various locales in Scotland in order to chat with locals and understand more of the rich history and culture the region has to offer. The two are very familiar with it as they were born there and grew up in the area. The latest Instagram post HERE comes courtesy of Balquhidder, a village located north of Glasgow but far south of Inverness, where the two actors were this past weekend. All in all, it seems like they’ve had a great time — and are excited to showcase their work to everyone. It may be some time still before Clan Lands arrives for the rest of us, but it will be worth the wait!
So what do we foresee with Clan Lands? Think in terms of a sporadic project that Sam and Graham can revisit here and there if they have time as a way to explore Scotland’s history. There’s no real limit to what can be done, and it’s mostly about finding the right places, stories, and the means in which to tell them. This is not a place with just a 100 years of history; there are so many centuries to explore and secrets for the two to uncover! Let’s hope for great things over the course of the coming months…
What are you the most excited to see with Sam Heughan on Clan Lands?
