Arrow season 8 spoilers: Willa Holland returning for multiple episodes
According to a new report from TVLine, Willa Holland will in fact be bringing back her role as Thea Queen for multiple episodes. The role is designed to be recurring, so this is not going to be a situation where she shows up, says hello, and then leaves.
Within this time, we’re hoping that there are opportunities aplenty to learn more about what Thea has been up to in her time away from the show, which we know includes quite a few travels with Roy … who has absolutely been through a lot himself. To say that Thea has been going through it feels like one of the grossest understatements ever, given that we are talking about someone who has died, come back via the Lazarus Pit, be a hero, be a part of Oliver’s political causes, and also try to still function in society. She’s had one of the craziest journeys out of anyone within the Arrowverse, and it’s nice to know that Holland is interested in coming back and offering up some closure.

Does this mean that there is a chance to see Speedy one more time? We know that we’d love to see it, but that’s going to be up to whatever the writers decide to do.
Holland joins a crew of returning Arrow actors that includes Colton Haynes (though he won’t be a series regular this time around), original cast member Colin Donnell (who turns up in the early going in some form), and Prometheus actor Josh Segarra. We’re sure that some other familiar faces will be coming and announcements are incoming … we’re still crossing our fingers for at least one more appearance from Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson.
