Is The Hills: New Beginnings new tonight on MTV? What’s next
Let’s kick things off here by getting the bad news out of the way — there is no new episode of the show tonight. Why gives with that? Blame the MTV Video Music Awards for it. Because the show is running most of the night and drawing plenty of headlines with it, there’s no room for some of the network’s other regularly-scheduled programming. That means that Spencer, Heidi, Audrina, and the rest of the group is off for the week, but it will be back with new episodes when you get around to Monday, September 2.
Sometimes, having hiatuses in the middle of a season can be kinda poisonous to a show’s long-term success. Luckily, that is not going to be the case here. The Hills: New Beginnings has already been confirmed for a second season and, with that in mind, consider this a breather. This is a chance to catch up on old episodes or listen to some Heidi tunes for a little while.

We’ve said this before, but the #1 reason why watching The Hills: New Beginnings is awkward right now is because of the fact that Brody and Kaitlynn are no longer together. It makes watching this show a journey into the end of their relationship. Audrina starting a new business is the part of this episode that actually feels like the most positive and hopeful. It’s nice to see someone turning the page and figuring out whatever they want to the next chapter in their lives to be.
