Queen of the South season 4 episode 12 preview: The last before finale!

Interested in learning some of what’s coming on Queen of the South season 4 episode 12? We’re nearing the end of the season and because of that, this is the time where everything hits the fan. In a lot of ways, we know this now more than ever in this era where penultimate episodes are very much a big deal. This is where characters are often killed off — we’ve already seen that happen with another cable show this year — and where big swings are implemented to set the stage for the finale.

Below, CarterMatt offered up the official Queen of the South season 4 episode 12 synopsis with some other news as to what’s coming up:

Teresa takes out a group of mercenaries while expanding her empire to an unexpected place.

This episode, just based on the information that we’ve got here, looks to be delivering and then some from an action point of view. We love installments that are willing to go big and are going to be showcasing new threats and also a wide array of locales. This season does have a lot to address before it’s over, so it does make some sense for the story to move quickly to bring us from point A to point B.

Obviously, the thing we’re the most worried about with this show is happening away from the story — the lack of a season 5 renewal. We still think that the ratings are very much there and the story has a lot of exciting elements to it. At the moment, USA is being patient with the renewals for many of their shows — Pearson is still awaiting news and while we know that Suits is in its final season, it’d be nice to see the spin-off get a little bit of love to go along with knowing the fate of Queen of the South once and for all.
