Power season 6 video: What will Tasha’s endgame be?

What’s coming up on Power season 6? There are so many different stories that matter within the final season, but the one of Tasha is near the top of the list insofar as importance goes. She’s been through it all — the pain, the suffering, and the mourning. Now, she has to figure out what she wants her endgame to be. She has to figure out the right way in order to say goodbye to this life … if she really wants out.

In the promo below, you can see a highlight reel of sorts of the Tasha character as she’s tried to navigate this life with Ghost over the years. She’s a character who has been so far into the field of battle with him that it’s going to be hard for her to find her way out — she hasn’t even wanted to be out every single second of the series’ run. Some of it is just because she hasn’t had too much of a choice. You have to deal with the hand that you’ve been dealt and at times, it’s been clear that Tasha has been dealt a pretty impossible hand. She’s had all sorts of hardship around her when it comes to her life being threatened. Then, she had to deal with her daughter being killed.

Moving into Power season 6, it looks like a big part of Tasha’s endgame is going to involve her trying to think for herself. She wants to find a way to cultivate some new relationships, and discover a sense of independence and future that she’s never had before.

The hardest thing for Tasha to recognize is simply the idea that at the end of it all she may have nothing to show for it. No Ghost, no family, and nothing that really feels stable. Yet, that could still feel better than the life that she’s lived.
