Big Brother 21: Was Kathryn Dunn or Sam Smith evicted?
We’ve heard from Allison Grodner in the past that the editors can turn around footage up to a few hours before the start of the show. Unfortunately, a big part of Sunday’s episode is going to be all about giving you more insight into what was going on. The Six Shooters alliance has fallen apart, but it wasn’t clear entering the show who would be going home. Christie was under the bus and Jackson and Holly were actively working against her.

We almost wanted Big Brother to accelerate through the all of the nonsense and get us to the drama … and instead we had to watch a lengthy segment that was all about Tommy’s dance routine.
The vote
Sam was evicted, and it was unanimous. Despite all of the hype about a vote flip leading up to the big moment, it ultimately did not matter at all. At one point this afternoon, the vote did flip but it didn’t last. Kat almost left despite volunteering to go on the block.
Sam was a good sport through most of his eviction interview, talking about how he did his best to stir things up and the vote kept jumping back and forth. We still don’t know every little thing that happened leading up to the eviction happening, but for now, we just don’t think that he had the trust in the right people. He was also hurt just by being on the block opposite Kat, someone who had a lot of friends including Kat and nobody wanted her gone from the game.
