Poldark season 5 video: Eleanor Tomlinson, cast hype premiere
In the new video that CarterMatt has for you below, you can hear Eleanor Tomlinson, Ellise Chappell, Jack Farthing, and several other cast members do their part in order to set up the premiere episode using just two words. It’s an immense challenge, largely since you gotta think about how many superlatives you can throw out there to hype up this season. The main takeaway is simple: The cast is proud of what they’ve put together and they want you to enjoy it! There’s no reason to doubt the end result, given that season 5 is going to be stuffed full of intrigue, drama, great characters, and also new perspectives. You’ll see a broadening out of the world through season 5 and opportunities to better understand where people are beyond their trauma. Chappell’s Morwenna is a great example of that.

All of the content the cast is putting out there is fun and designed to show you the relationship that the performers have to the show. It may be difficult work at times and the show can be quite devastating in terms of its drama; yet, when the dust settles it’s a labor of love and it’s been a great pleasure to see these people in these roles for so many years. It’s going to be difficult to imagine the world coming to a close.
Luckily, we’ve heard from many cast members now that the door is always open for more Poldark down the road … though we don’t see it being an immediate priority for anyone to come back into Cornwall. We’re going to have to be extremely patient on that.
