The 100 season 6 episode 10 preview: The meaning of ‘Matryoshka’
We’re not at the end of the season, but we wonder if we could be seeing the end of this part of the season 6 storyline. There are so many different elements and variations of it that we’ve seen already but season 6 is already shown itself to be about so much more. It’s allowed us to dive into different windows of who these characters are and what they could be — and we think that moving into season 7, the focus should start to move into a different direction.
Below, CarterMatt offered up an official The 100 season 6 episode 10 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming:
REUNITED – Russell (guest star J.R. Bourne) seeks justice. Meanwhile, Gabriel (guest star Ian Pala) must make a difficult choice. Lastly, the Blake siblings reunite. Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Paige Turco, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Tasya Teles and Shannon Kook star. The episode was directed by Amanda Tapping and written by Drew Lindo (#610). Original airdate 7/16/2019.
If you do like some of the new characters at the heart of The 100, this episode could be up your alley — it’s absolutely unusual that the two characters referenced in the synopsis primarily are Russell and Gabriel given that they haven’t been at the forefront of everything this season — and judging on what Gabriel decides, it could alter quite a bit beyond just himself. It’s something interesting to consider as we find ourselves inching closer to the finale.
Creatively, one of the things that we can continue to praise with The 100 season 6 is this — they are doing a great job of giving us something to like from just about every performer in the cast.
