‘The X Factor’ USA spoilers: Khloe Kardashian finally ‘confirmed’ as co-host

It’s taken long enough, but it now looks like it is as close to official as official cane be save for an announcement from Fox: Khloe Kardashian will be the co-host of “The X Factor” when the competition kicks off its live shows beginning on Thursday, November 1.

According to a new report from E! News (which is a pretty trusted source for all things Kardashian given that the family’s reality TV empire airs on their network), Khloe has more or less inked her deal to be a part of the show, where her duties will include talking to contestants, providing playful banter, and also making sure that Simon Cowell keeps quiet long enough so that the run time does not go over. These duties proved to be too much for Steve Jones last year, and he was fired from the gig months later.

So who will be joining Khloe on the show’s stage? That much is still somewhat of a mystery, though multiple sources have confirmed that Mario Lopez of “Extra” and “America’s Best Dance Crew” fame is the leading candidates. We have heard former “High School Musical” star Corbin Bleu’s name float around a few times, as well, as he was also someone that Cowell looked into hiring as a host during the show’s first season. Expect a formal announcement to come here soon, especially with the last judges’ houses show airing later this week. Producers will probably make everything official during the broadcast.

Do you think Khloe makes this show better, or are you so anti-Kardashian that you are now discouraged to watch? Be sure to share your thoughts below!
