Pose season 2 episode 4 return date: Someone is attacked

Pose episode 4

Pose season 2 episode 4 on FX is plotting something incredibly important — but also something incredibly painful. It’s a story that you may also have to wait for a little while in order to see.

Unfortunately, the network is opting to not air a new episode next week, with the simple reason for that being it’s so close to July 4. It’s a tough week for television ratings and Independence Day is one of those times in which networks often shrug up their shoulders when it comes to some of the risks that they’re willing to take. Pose may be a daring show, but FX isn’t looking to make any daring decisions and compromise its ratings. That’s why it isn’t coming back until Tuesday, July 9.

Judging from the promo below, though, this is one worth watching and waiting for. “Never Knew Love Like This Before” is going to be a painful and powerful exploration into humanity, one that leaves the Ballroom in a difficult emotional state. These are people who realize the dangers that they can sometimes face — that’s why they look towards each other. This is why there is a community and this is why there is so much pain when something happens. They take on all of these problems together in hopes that they can get through all of them together. It’s heartbreaking when something happens to interrupt that sense of family.

Below, CarterMatt has the official Pose season 2 episode 4 synopsis with some other details about what’s coming:

How is season 2 faring in the ratings?

We wonder often about the series’ performance, mostly given its standing as a part of Twitter’s trending topics many times that it is on the air. It’s clear that this is a series with a dedicated following, one that loves to digest the content and one who loves equally talking about it.

The ratings themselves, at least in terms of live viewing, aren’t going to shock the world — but, they’re decent (a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 and over 600,000 viewers) and, more than that, they’re fairly steady. The numbers for season 2 are not that far off from season 1, which means that viewers are clearly loving what they are getting and they’re looking forward to getting a whole lot more of it. That is probably one of the reasons why FX went ahead and renewed Pose for a third season in advance — that and them just loving the show. It brings so much critical acclaim, style, and diversity to their lineup.
