Barbara Walters, Lindsay Lohan sitting down for ‘Liz & Dick’ interview

Lindsay Lohan has been working hard at some sort of major comeback following her troubles both when it comes to the law and her personal life, and we are going to see a prime example of this courtesy of one upcoming project specifically: the Lifetime original movie “Liz & Dick.” Lohan has spoken frequently about about the supposed connections that she sees between herself and the late screen legend, and this was one of the reasons that led her to taking this project to begin with.

So what is Lindsay doing in order to promote the project? Let’s just say that she is allowing herself to sit down with one of the most-famous journalists of our time for an intense sit-down interview. TMZ first reported the news Sunday that Lohan will sit down with Barbara Walters for an ABC News exclusive interview, and Gossip Cop added that there will be no talking point that is necessarily off limits. So why is she agreeing to this? Basically, Lohan has known Walters for some time, and believes that she will handle her with some respect and compassion.

The latest tabloid news surrounding Lohan broke just last week, when the actress and her mother were involved with a rather chaotic incident that led to all sorts of allegations surrounding drug use (which were later denied) to whether or not the Lohan family was stable enough to really support her moving forward. Lindsay later blamed her father Michael for leaking a phone conversation between her and him to the press, and has vowed to not speak with him moving forward.
