Remember also that the times listed are all Eastern Standard, so we suggest adjust accordingly depending of course on where you are in the world. These times are subject to change.

The fact that Survivor was given a 90-minute premiere highly suggests to us that this will also be the Big Brother 21 finale, and that said finale will run for ninety minutes as well. That’s what CBS has done in the past, but it is currently unconfirmed.

Wondering about the odd start times? It’s because the shows are all appearing after NFL football. Note that they could be delayed a little bit further than these times, depending on what happens when it comes to the action of the given day.

Are there any major surprises in here?
Not particularly. CBS tends to premiere most of their stuff at the end of September and follow a fairly typical schedule — it’s one of the luxuries of being one of the most-watched networks on TV. Yet again entering this season, they’ve got a roster full of established hits and not very many gambles. The two new dramas are All Rise and then also Evil, and we’re still not sold on either one of them. The former has the DNA of a typical court show, and we’re not sure that anyone’s banging down the door for another one of those. Meanwhile, Evil has a great pedigree courtesy of executive producers Robert and Michelle King, but great producers don’t always = a great series. We’ve seen enough examples of that to the contrary.
To us, the most likely newcomer to succeed of this group is Carol’s Second Act — Patricia Heaton is a comedy titan and, beyond that, Ashley Tisdale recently joined in a recasting. This is a perfect way to ensure that this show has multi-generational appeal. CBS needs a big comedy hit after The Big Bang Theory and this could end up being hit.
