Could Stephen Amell be on The Flash, Supergirl after Arrow series finale?
Speaking (via Comic Book Resources) to fans at MegaCon 2019 in Orlando, the actor expressed his gratitude to the producers and the network for the role that really changed his whole career — it’s because of that he would have a hard time saying no to a return:
“I owe so much to them … So, if five years from now they’re wrapping up Show X and they were like, ‘You know what would be the cherry on top of the sundae? Would you come back?’ What am I going to say? No? … I owe a lot to people, so if they need something from me, they can always have it.”

How could the Arrowverse continue to use the Green Arrow?
Because of the multiverse aspect of this show, it seems as though there are always going to be chances for alternate-universe versions of Oliver to come back — even if the multiverse manages to collapse on itself following Crisis on Infinite Earths, there are always dream sequences, flashbacks, and the like — and that’s just assuming that Oliver Queen is gone from the future timeline as presented on Arrow season 7.
We’ve already noted that one of our favorite ideas is to cast Amell as Red Death and have him be a Big Bad on the second half of The Flash season 6 — we understand that technically Red Death is an evil, corrupted iteration of Bruce Wayne from another Earth, but we do think that the Arrowverse could easily turn him into a darker version of Oliver Queen, especially since we know how cagey DC sometimes is about using some of their big-name characters. We know that Bruce Wayne is at least being mentioned in Batwoman, but it doesn’t seem like there’s all that much of an incentive for them to introduce that character right away.
Of course, you do want to imagine that the end of Arrow is something significant and finite — in that sense, you almost don’t want to see the cast again right away so that the ending means something. Maybe it is a discussion for years down the road, but the idea of seeing some of these characters again will absolutely remain on our mind.
