Is The Resident new tonight on Fox? Season 2 episode 20 hopes
Let’s go ahead and get a big dose of the bad news out of the way. There is no new episode of the Matt Czuchry series coming up on Fox tonight, and you’re going to be waiting for seven more days to see whatever is coming up next. Will it prove to be worth the wait? In terms of compelling drama, sure … but you pay feel your head pounding against the wall over the state of Conrad and Nic.
Can the two just find a way to be happy together? They’re one of the best couples on TV, but also at times one of the most frustrating since it feels like they’re constantly circling the idea of a relationship when, for one reason or another, something gets in the way. This actually is probably true to a lot of real-life relationships, given that so many in this world are marred with either indecision or actual, important issues (of which Conrad and Nic have many) that they have not been able to work through. Yet, there’s still a commitment to want to try and figure things out because there is so much love and history there.
Through much of next week’s episode, be prepared to see Conrad and Nic go through some of the paces trying to figure out where they stand … at least as much as they possibly can. They are still working at a hospital and in news that should surprise virtually no one, there are some other emergencies that are going to need their attention! Through the episode coming up, there’ll be a lot of other issues constantly getting in the couple’s way of meaningful conversation.
To go along with the latest from the ongoing tales of CoNic, this episode coming up should also feature some powerful stuff from AJ and Mina, who are going to be working with Kit to take on an emergency within this episode like no other.
While we don’t really want to think about the fact that we are so close to the end of the season, it’s still news that is rather hard to avoid. With that, we hope that the writers do start building next week towards something that will serve as a worthy send-off for this season … and also a way to build up the upcoming third season. We already know that it’s happening! The question that therefore remains is just what’s going to be coming in terms of the actual story.
