While the promo below for Wednesday’s episode does not necessarily give you too much footage of any particular contestant, there is one person especially worth noting: Daneliya Tuleshova. Like last week’s singing standout Dimash Kudaibergen, she hails from Kazakhstan. She’s a pop singer who, despite being just 12 years old, has appeared on several competitions in Europe and has a fairly sizable following. (To be specific, she already has more than 200,000 followers on Instagram.)
Because the World’s Best preview does not really give you too much in terms of what she can do over the course of a full performance, take a look at a cover of hers below — she is performing Demi Lovato’s “Warrior,” a song that has a really powerful message to it. If she sings anything like this on the CBS show, she’s going to be around in the competition for a while. Singers have that natural ability to appeal to people all over the world — people relate to their stories often and some of the specific music that they choose to sing! We just hope that there’s a chance that we get to hear some great stuff from her and some other performances in her vein the rest of the season.
If you love variety, rest assured that The World’s Best also has a good bit of that coming up for you, as well — think in terms of some acrobats, some danger acts, and also some very unique performers you haven’t really seen on some other shows before. The uniqueness of the acts on The World’s Best is, in the end, one of the reasons why it stands out so much. Dundu Giants of Light is a great example of something you saw on this show that you probably never saw anywhere else.
