Roswell, New Mexico episode 5 preview: Uncovering the truth

Roswell, New Mexico

Want to know some of what’s coming up in terms of Roswell, New Mexico episode 5? At the center of this story will be the truth. We’re going to see a desperate attempt to find answers on Isobel and then also a hunt for information that could change just about everything. This is still a show that is in its infancy and because of that, there is clearly so much more to learn about a number of different characters.

Want to know some details for the next new episode? Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Roswell, New Mexico episode 5 synopsis with some more news regarding what lies ahead:

UNCOVERING THE TRUTH – Max (Nathan Dean Parsons) and Michael (Michael Vlamis) begin to worry about Isobel (Lily Cowles) after a series of mysterious blackouts cause her to spiral. Liz (Jeanine Mason) turns to Grant Green (guest star Peter Diseth) for help when she learns that he may have witnessed something strange on the night Rosa died. Meanwhile, Kyle (Michael Trevino) and Alex (Tyler Blackburn) uncover a secret that Kyle’s father had been keeping from everyone. Karan Oberoi also stars. Jeffrey Hunt directed the episode written by Adam Lash & Cori Uchida (#105). Original airdate 2/12/2019.

This episode should be giving you a nice dose of everything that you could want from this show — a lot of drama, some interesting character moments, and hopefully a few different twists along the way. We like this show the most when it is keeping us guessing and with that in mind, hopefully, this particular installment will.

The latest ratings

For everyone who was wondering how the show is faring, there’s some good news and bad. Last week’s new episode ended up posting the show’s lowest 18-49 rating of the season in a 0.3. Yet, it did also improve its total-viewer count slightly from the week before. There are some welcome signs when it comes to the future of the show, even though The CW did not hand down some sort of official renewal earlier this week at TCA. The simple reason for that stems to the fact that we’re still super-early in this season and there is plenty of time for things to still ebb and flow one way or another.

At the moment, we remain cautiously optimistic — even the legacy of the Roswell property, we do think that this is something that the network would like to keep around for a while.
