So what are we getting on this particular episode? With us being so close to the end of the season, of course the writers are going to be delivering some outstanding material. This upcoming hour is going to be about haunted houses, about a town in Maine, and of course about an UnSub who is going to be doing whatever they can in order to cause chaos and destruction. On the surface, it actually feels like this is going to be one of the more prominent old-school episodes of the season.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Criminal Minds season 14 episode 14 synopsis with some more news on what’s coming:
“Sick and Evil” – The BAU leads the investigation into a string of murders taking place in supposedly haunted houses in Lewiston, Maine, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Jan. 30 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
We do figure that there’s going to be more happening within this episode than what we’re seeing right now on the surface, mostly because there almost always is within this world and we know that season 14 has been a little less procedural than some others that we’ve had a chance to check out over time. Our hope is that by the end, the stage will be set for some sort of epic finale, one that could have all sorts of surprises and also set the stage for an epic season 15. With that being the final season, it really is the time to put all of the various cards on the table. We just hope that the show gets a fitting conclusion that actually celebrates the past decade and a half — it’s certainly a show going down in TV history, no matter what happens from here.
As we approach the finale, we really just want nothing more than for next week to be memorable.
