The bulk of the action for this upcoming episode is taking place at a research facility located deep within the Pacific Ocean, and the challenges here seem to be obvious. For starters, some of these characters have to actually make it to the scene of the crime, and then from there you have to deal with people who are not exactly the same as they probably are on dry land. Think of things this way: These are people who’ve been underwater most likely for a long stretch of time, and there are ramifications that come with being that detached from the outside world. Paranoia can start to seep in a little bit and we imagine that’s especially the case when there is a murderer in close quarters with you.
While the synopsis for this episode teased the episode mostly through the lens of Tani, Junior, and Adam, the promo below makes it clear that Steve is going to be very much involved in his own right. We do think that there are going to be remnants of this past episode sprinkled within what we’re going to see next, but it does make sense for CBS to be promoting this story more from an action point of view. How can you not when you consider some of what is going on here with the murder and the setting?
Of course, we’re also at least slightly worried for some of the main characters on this show, as well. It’s not exactly like all of them are used to this sort of claustrophobic environment. You have to be prepared for almost everything and with that in mind, hopefully they’ll find a way to get through this.
