NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 6 video: Will Mosley sell out the team?

As we approach NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 6 airing on CBS on Sunday night, it’s clear that the entire team is in trouble. Beyond just that, it is also particularly clear as to why: Shay Mosley is willing to sell out anyone in order to get her way.

In the video below, you can get a good sense as to what is coming, in particular the idea that she may commit treason via a means to save her own hide. From the get-go, it was clear with this character that she had aspirations of climbing the ladder and being as successful as humanly possible. That means, along the way, that she is willing to throw people under the bus or degrade them in the eyes of the higher-ups. The problem for her in this episode is that she knows that her back is up against the wall already due to what transpired in Mexico, and because of that, she’s going to be a little more desperate than usual. That means that she could do some things that she didn’t think about previously.

At this point, it feels clear that we are nearing an untenable position with this character. How does she come back from everything that she’s actively doing? She wasn’t altogether well-liked by many longtime fans before this latest string of actions; now, she may be moving into full-on villain territory for some of them. At least previously, the most unlikable thing about her was that she wasn’t allowing the team members to really be themselves and she wanted to micromanage everything. Now, she seems intent on breaking the law and doing everything that she can to get ahead.

This episode as a whole could be the biggest turning point to date for Mosley and the rest of the team; we’ll see how it shakes out come Sunday.
