Below, CarterMatt has the full The Good Doctor season 2 episode 6 synopsis with some other information now when it comes to what’s ahead:
Morgan and Shaun’s indecision on how to treat a young violinist who visits the ER with an infected finger could affect her future in more ways than one. Meanwhile, Lim, Claire and Park can’t figure out if their young patient is really ill or looking for attention.
What’s somewhat interesting about this synopsis is mostly that almost all of it is case-of-the-week-based. There isn’t much information here regarding some of the longer plots of this season, whether they be with Lea, Dr. Glassman, or some other important people at the St. Bonaventure Hospital. Typically, the cases on The Good Doctor are enough to hopefully carry the day; we have to imagine that this is going to be the case here, as well.
This episode should prove to be interesting mostly from a character perspective; this is really all about finding people in precarious positions and seeing how they react. While none of the other doctors at the hospital have the same exact diagnosis as Shaun, they all are working through many of their own issues at the same time.
