Gotham season 5 spoilers: Many glorious Bane details surface
Below, you can see via Tze Chun a first look at this notable Batman villain on the series itself! He’s someone who absolutely should be feared and for good reason, given that we’re talking about someone who will break a character’s back and cause a lot of problem. When you first meet the character, he will be going by the name Eduardo Dorrance — how quickly he ends up becoming this particular version of Bane remains to be seen.
Do we think that there may be a number of people out there upset that this iteration of him isn’t identical to what they know from the comics? Sure, but this is obviously a very early rendition of Bane and the finale one, at least for Batman, will look very much different. The biggest reason why other characters feel a little more fully-formed at this point is because we’ve had an opportunity to spend some more time around them. We’ve seen more of their gradual transformation — and also the not-so-gradual transformation when it comes to Ivy.
So what’s going on for the season at large, especially when it comes to the story of No Man’s Land? Speaking via Entertainment Weekly, here is what executive producer John Stephens had to say:
“We pick up at the top of season five, at the conclusion of No Man’s Land, Day 365 … Then, we cycle backwards to day 87, three months into No Man’s Land where Jim has created his green zone and wants his reunification. We’re catching up, and for the first nine episodes, we’re always catching up to that first scene we see.”
Basically, get ready: The final season of Gotham should be an excellent culmination of everything that we’ve had a chance to see so far.
