Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 2 preview: The evil Fairy Godmother

Moving into Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 2, it’s clear that things are not going to be precisely what they seem. That seems to be one of the big themes for this season with the mystical characters entering the world of the Legends. We saw a particularly murderous unicorn in the premiere, and as we enter episode 2 now, signs point towards a Fairy Godmother being a little more sadistic than the one you get to see in many fairy-tales. This is going to be fun!

Below, CarterMatt has the Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 2 synopsis with some other information when it comes to what lies ahead:

NOT YOUR TYPICAL FAIRY GODMOTHER – When the magical Time Seismograph goes off, the team finds themselves headed to the Salem witch trials. Sara (Caity Lotz) notices that Zari (Tala Ashe) is taking this case personally when she promises to save a mom, who is being accused of being a witch. However, the team quickly learns that there is a magical creature in the town creating problems they hadn’t been expecting. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) and Ava (Jes Macallan) work together to try to keep their Time Bureau funding by proving to them that magic exists. Matt Ryan, Dominic Purcell and Brandon Routh also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Matthew Maala (#402). Original airdate 10/29/2018.

As the episode goes along, we’re going to be seeing a number of different fun stories — of course, the Time Bureau is funded and they have to go through some rather-bizarre methods to ensure that it keeps the money that it has.

In the midst of all of this, though, we could get a nice spotlight story for Tala Ashe as we could get a little bit more information about Zari’s past. Of course, taking on various missions is one of the best ways to get more information about characters. Hopefully, that is something that continues all season long.
