God Friended Me episode 4 sneak peek: The God Account’s strange suggestion
In the first sneak peek below, we learn that the God Account has offered up a rather unusual friend suggestion to Miles … and it’s not an actual person this time. Instead, it’s a place — the Hayden Planetarium. You will see some of the characters visit that place Sunday in search for answers, and we know that this particular story is coming in the midst of Rakesh searching for some sort of answer or pattern behind the account’s behavior. A part of the intrigue with this series is trying to figure out if there is any sort of technical pattern to the way in which the account is operating — that’s a fun way to better understand and explore it, and it certainly does make sense that this would be something a few of these characters would want to examine rather closely.
Meanwhile, the second sneak peek raises a question that is a little more personal: How deep are some of Miles’ feelings for Cara? In this preview, he indicates to Rakesh that he does care for her, and that’s actually why he is so afraid to ask her out. She’s different from most of the people he has met, and if he asks her out and she says no, there is a concern that the entire relationship changes … and in turn, so does the work that they are doing. Yet, the longer he waits, the more she may think he is not interested. Basically, time is of the essence here — it’s not life-or-death insofar as urgency goes, but this definitely needs to be something that Miles has on his mind. There is a risk, after all, that eventually she finds someone else.

One other thing to remember entering Sunday’s episode is that God Friended Me has a full season of 20 episodes — with that, rest assured the series is not going away in the near future!
