Bull season 3 episode 5 preview: Can a man be in two places at once?
This brings us to the story of “The Missing Piece” next week, which is going to push the story forward presumably beyond what happened to the team’s old tech specialist. The show must go on, and this seems to be a very difficult case just because the evidence against their client, a doctor, feels almost insurmountable. As a matter of fact, they have to prove that he was somewhere else even though DNA evidence claims otherwise. Can he really be in two different places at the same time? Unless he is superhuman, it seems unlikely — and this is not the sort of series in which people are running around with superpowers.
Below, CarterMatt has the Bull season 3 episode 4 synopsis, which gives you a reasonably good sense of some of the story that is coming up next:
“The Missing Piece” – Bull joins the defense team of a seemingly unwinnable case when a doctor is put on trial for murder after his submission to a DNA database links him to a homicide. While Bull and Benny work on selecting jurors who are predisposed to trust their instincts instead of incontrovertible evidence, Danny and Taylor research if their client’s DNA sample may have been contaminated, on BULL, Monday, Oct. 22 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This episode will offer you up a chance to see how Taylor actually operates as a member of the team, which is probably still going to be getting used to her. The good news here is that Taylor is not a complete and utter outsider: She does have experience working with Marissa and with that, she has an in with the rest of the group. The challenge that she does have to face here is that she doesn’t know anyone else as of yet, and not every character may be keen on greeting her kindly. They won’t be unintentionally rude, but this is a tough transition going from Cable to someone different.
