Where is Victoria season 3 on ITV? The premiere-date wait
At the moment, it doesn’t appear as though you can expect Jenna Coleman and the rest of the cast to be back on the air right away. According to a report coming in via the Radio Times, new episodes will not be premiering for the series until early next year, which does make a little bit of sense given that season 3 started filming a couple of months later in the year than season 2 did. What is somewhat interesting about this is that the show may actually premiere in America relatively close to when it does in the UK — the American premiere date has already been set, and it’s in January. Typically, the show starts in the US a few months later than it does in the UK.
So what is the reason for the show’s delay to coming on the air? There are a number of different potential reasons for it, but the biggest one may just be that it allowed for more time in the writing and for Coleman to take on some other things. For example, she is starring in a four-part miniseries coming up entitled The Cry, and you can read a little bit more about that now over at the link. At least the series will be back, and when it does return, there are going to be many great opportunities to dive into what’s next in the life of one of the United Kingdom’s most-famous Queens.
