Absentia season 2 video: See Stana Katic, cast members on set!
This “in production’ video was first shared by Amazon Prime Video’s official Twitter (you can check out the video below), and in it you have a chance to see Katic and many of the cast members — including some new faces (read more about that here) — in Bulgaria hard at work on making season 2 awesome. We know that filming will be going on for many more months, and hopefully we are going to get a story of psychological intrigue and dramatic action. Basically, we want more of what we got the first time around.

Season 2 of Absentia does not have a premiere date just yet, but we do know that this story will follow up on Emily Byrne (Katic) as she tries to redefine her life in the midst of the trauma she unearthed in season 1. There are many things for her now that are different, but at the end of season 1 she got her job back and was able to imagine a future again; yet, there were also signs that the psychological torment she endured was far from gone. This could remain a component of the series moving into season 2, but this is the sort of show where the less you know about the plot, the better. We still have fond memories of burning through this story one episode after the next. It’s addictive, and it is easily one of the most-underrated shows of the year, especially when you consider that there are still many viewers out there who really aren’t aware of it as they should be. Amazon is really becoming a force to be reckoned with as we’ve seen with show like Absentia, Bosch, Sneaky Pete, Goliath and now Jack Ryan.
