Last Man Standing season 7 episode 2: Robert Forster returns, one more time
It’s not a complete shock to see a comedy address the subject of death; yet, it’s also not something that we really see comedies take on other than after a cast member either dies or departs. It’s not often that you see a character killed off due mostly to a creative decision, but that is what Last Man Standing is doing with Mike’s father Bud. The character is being killed off the show and we will see the impact that a death like this would have on the family. “Man vs. Myth” is a chance for Mike to get some sort of closure over losing his dad. These two didn’t always have a perfect relationship, but at its core there was a lot of love here.

Below,we have the Last Man Standing season 7 episode 2 synopsis for more news as to what you can expect:
Having avoided expressing any sort of emotion after his dad died, Mike finally has the heart-to-heart with Bud (guest star Robert Forster) that he never had while he was alive. Meanwhile, Kristin proposes a new business venture, and Mandy gives Kyle a makeover to fit his new corporate job in the all-new “Man vs. Myth” episode of LAST MAN STANDING airing Friday, Oct. 5 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
As for whether or not we envision this being the final appearance of Forster on the show, it feels almost like it should be. He’s a magnificent actor, but you also want to ensure that there is closure for the audience just like there is for Mike as a character. You don’t to just exploit this for the sake of drawing out the Bud stories. Characters have to move forward along with the viewers.
