Bull season 3 spoilers: What is Jason Bull striving for now?
Physically, this is not something that you recover from immediately and claim that you’re better on the other side. There is a lengthy healing profess that goes along with it, as you have to figure out whether or not you are taking the right steps to prevent something more from happening in the future. Beyond just your physical health, though, there is also an emotional component to this. You have to ensure that you are taking some of the right steps in order to properly ensure that this sort of thing does not happen to you again. That’s not always the easiest thing in the world for someone to do.
Could companionship be something that Bull starts to crave, or at least think about? Based on what show executive producer Glenn Gordon Caron told Variety, that certainly seems possible:
“At the end of last season, Bull suffered a heart attack on the steps of the Court House. This year he returns, very mindful of his mortality, and with the words of his ex-wife cascading through his brain — ‘You’re no good alone.’”
There are two different reads to this situation in our mind. You could read this as Bull potentially starting to realize that he needs someone new in his life in order to find his true happiness. Or, you could also read this as him needing to figure out how to be better by himself — if he does improve his state of mind in this sort of circumstance, it’s absolutely possible that he will be a better partner to a person down the road, someone who can better assess their own wants and needs.
Hopefully, we’ll find out a real answer to this not too long after Bull season 3 premieres on CBS come Monday, September 24 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern.
