Take Two episode 13 (finale) spoilers: The aftermath for Sam, Eddie

Next week, Take Two episode 13 — otherwise known as the season finale — is airing on ABC … and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

From the vantage point of resolving a case, we’re going to be seeing one of the most intense hours that we’ve seen to date. Sam could be put in danger and, over the course of the hour, they’re going to realize that the case is so much more complicated than either one of them first thinks.

Beyond just this, Sam and Eddie also have to deal with the aftermath of what happened at the end of tonight’s episode — basically, when the two slept together. We know that there are some surprises that the show could have in store for us — after all, executive producers Andrew W. Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller made it clear to CarterMatt recently that there is a pretty good chance that there will be a cliffhanger at the end of the season. Be prepared for that, but above all else, be prepared for entertainment.

Below, the Take Two finale synopsis offers up a little bit more information as to what lies ahead:

Still wrestling with the emotional reverberations of sleeping together, Sam and Eddie take a case involving a serial con man who victimizes wealthy women. In order to recover their client’s money and jewelry without scaring off their suspect, the pair hatch a plan to con the con man using Sam as bait. But their plan goes awry when they discover they’re not the only ones after the con man and they may be stepping into a trap themselves. As events unfold, Sam’s future and Eddie’s past collide to test their professional and personal relationship that could change everything.
