Chesapeake Shores season 3 episode 6 preview: Abby navigates co-parenting
With Trace with dealing some professional obligations and he and Abby spending some time apart, it only makes sense that they have some issues to navigate. Yet, at the same time the biggest relationship hurdles she faces on next Sunday’s episode may have to do with her ex Wes. With there being a new woman in his life, she has to figure out what that means for her family. Of course, this is also just a drop in the ocean for everything that is happening — this is an eventful story and with that, there is probably going to be a lot of chaos (and surprises) around almost every story.
Take a look, via SpoilerTV, at the attached Chesapeake Shores season 3 episode 6 synopsis:
Abby (Meghan Ory) learns her ex-husband is in a serious relationship in “Chesapeake Shores” and navigates their new family dynamic in “Here and There,” Sunday, September 9 (9 p.m. ET/PT) on Hallmark Channel. Abby misses Trace (Jesse Metcalfe) by her side as she explores the new co-parenting roles with Wes (Michael Karl Richards) and his girlfriend. Pulled in many directions with work obligations, Trace misses out on family moments with Abby and the girls. Mick (Treat Williams) and Megan’s (Barbara Niven) relationship continues to evolve, but is influenced by their past. Having worked independently for months, Jess (Laci Mailey) adjusts to David’s (Carlo Marks) return to the bed and breakfast. Also adjusting to a man in her life is Bree (Emilie Ullerup), who attempts to define her partially professional, partially romantic relationship with Simon (Oliver Rice). At the Chesapeake Shores Fire Department, Kevin (Brendan Penny) enjoys a week of on-the-job training with Sarah (Jessica Sipos). Meanwhile, Nell (Diane Ladd) recruits Connor (Andrew Francis) to investigate a contestant who is breaking the rules in an annual gardening competition, but a surprising discovery makes her rethink the plan.
How are the ratings?
For those who are curious, this past episode generated the same 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic that we saw for the week before on the show. With that in mind and with the show down less than 10% in the demo from season 2, it’s hard to be anything other than hopeful for what lies ahead. (Also, we should point out that last week’s new episode drew almost 1.63 million viewers, the largest total since the premiere.)
