The hype for the Shadowhunters season 3 finale builds further
For a little more information on that, just take a look at what show executive producer Darren Swimmer had to say about the upcoming episodes, directed by fellow EP Todd Slavkin (set to air in 2019):
Swimmer and Slavkin have been working as showrunners for Shadowhunters since the second season, and they put everything they could into making these episodes great regardless of whatever the future holds. We know that these episodes did leave something open for more down the road, provided that an opportunity does present itself.

For those wondering, Swimmer’s reference of spoilers relates to the infuriating prop auction from earlier this week, one in which many items were listed for sale with incredibly spoilery information attached. While auctions post-production are fairly common, it’s a little unusual for A) one to happen so soon after the conclusion of filming and B) one to give so much information away about what lies ahead. Hopefully, many of you out there didn’t see any of that information and you have the ability to block all of that out. The whole point of a series like this is to get caught up in the story and not have some outside force ruin it for you. Alas, that clearly happened to some out there and we’re not exactly thrilled with it.
Regardless of if you saw some spoilers or not, hopefully there’s a lot you are able to take away from the rest of season 3 as a whole. We know that there are many great moments ahead for the characters, epic battles, and also a number of inspirational scenes. It’s the Shadowhunters that you’ve come to know and love.
