Bosch season 5 will bring in a new investigator — investigating Bosch
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bianca Kajlich of Undateable fame is going to be appearing in a multi-episode arc on the upcoming season. Her role is that of investigator Christina Henry, someone who has a rather interesting subject: Harry Bosch himself. She’s going to be looking at a case from his past back when he was a part of the LAPD. Depending on what happens here, we have a feeling it could have enormous consequences for what happens with Bosch in the future.
We don’t want to give too much away here for people who are not altogether familiar with the source material, but this upcoming season will be based on the Bosch novel Two Kinds of Truth, one that puts Bosch in a good bit of trouble at one point. Basically, this is going to give the show a chance to put a different sort of pressure on Titus Welliver’s character, which we’re personally all for just for the sake of getting to see some different sort of trouble for him. When you’ve got a series in its fifth season, you want to find some new dynamics and struggles for your characters. On paper, it certainly feels like this is a story that will deliver in spades. We just hope that it lives up to some of the hype that we have in our mind for it.
